Save works for the people
We always work with well known and well established local organisations and develop our projects as required and desired by the local people. We evaluate and monitor the projects through our appointed local monitor. We also visit the projects every year from the UK. Our monitor gives progress reports every 4 to 6 months and we secure annual reports and annual accounts from our partner organisations before we grant any further funding. This helps us to ensure that we fulfil our obligations under the rules and guidelines of the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR)
Currently the Board members of SAVE are:
Dr. Dipankar Datta (Chairman)
Mr. George Rawlinson (Secretary)
Mr. Arun Ghosh Ray (Treasurer)
Dr. Supratik Basu
Mr. Debadutta Rath
Dr. Bishnu Routray

SAVE is seeking support from YOU!
There are 250 million people belonging to the educated middle class in India with a further 2.8 million settled in Europe and America. They have done, and are doing, exceptionally well. - Should they do anything to relieve the suffering of others - however small or inadequate it may be?
- Do we have any responsibility, social or moral, to extend a helping hand to those who have fallen by the wayside in our society, a society which has educated us free in spite of being poor?
There is little doubt that almost all of us will say - ‘definitely – YES’.
We know that every small effort and every small drop counts in the final outcome. Help SAVE to raise the quality of life of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged in society - donate today - contact us for futher information .
