Korak, the special school for the mentally challenged and hearing impaired children, has been working for the last 21 years at Nager Bazar, Dum Dum in the North 24 Parganas of West Bengal. Most of our students belong to low income group. We provide them with educational support.
We are getting some financial support from the Government of India. But it is not sufficient for us. A few years back SAVE INDIA has come to give monetary support to our organization.

Last year (2013-2014), we received Rs. 1,00,000/- from SAVE INDIA. We have utilized the money for the purpose of activities such as Transport Allowances for the poor students, rent for the School Building, annual sports for the students and conducting Workshops for the students.

A total of 59 students at our school are benefited from the monetary help from SAVE INDIA. We are very grateful to SAVE INDIA.
